PLEASE NOTE: This baton WILL NOT WORK AS A VERTICAL BLIND WAND. The head swivels and will not tilt your blinds. Designed for draperies only.

SPECIAL NOTE from the Shade Doctor: When using a drapery baton, the ease of operation depends on the type of rod you have. Standard traverse rods with carrier slides can feel a bit stiff, while rods with ball-bearing carriers glide much more smoothly because the bearings reduce friction. If you’d like to test your rod, simply pull on the lead edge of the fabric—more resistance usually indicates basic carrier slides, while a smoother glide suggests ball-bearing carriers.

The same applies if you wish to use the batons on a grommet drapery. To use on a grommet drapery may require attaching a small ring on the lead edge for the baton to clip onto.
